Test Engineer Intern

a leading manufacturer of RVs and boats, is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Technology Group (ATG) in Savage, MN.
The Advanced Technology Group focuses on new and emerging technologies and the application of the technologies across the various business units of Winnebago Industries.
In the role you will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tests on mechanical or electrical components, sub-assemblies, or systems to ensure reliability and functionality of our technology offerings.
Here what we want you to do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test objectives, requirements, and success criteriaWorks with test technicians to conduct testing to evaluate the performance, durability, or reliability of components and systemsAnalyzes test data to identify trends, deviations, and potential areas for improvementGenerate detailed test reports, summarizing findings, and recommendations for further developmentResearch relevant test and design standards for application specific testingAssists in lab instrumentation research and selectionEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Entering Junior or Senior year in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, software, or related engineering fieldExperience in problem solving, analytical thinking, and technical writingStrong desire to learn and be hands-onFamiliarity with sensors, lab instrumentation, and data acquisition systemsEffective collaboration and communication abilitiesThis position will be in person at the Winnebago Industries Innovation Center located in Savage, MNPrimary work environment will be a combination of office, laboratory, and workshopOccasional travel may be required to collect field data or visit the business unitsHourly rate of $25/per hourThe internship is 10 weeks from June 3rd - August 9thBy fostering innovation, igniting growth, promoting well-being and connecting with purpose, we cultivate the passion and pride that make both work and play extraordinary.
